The aim of this course is to put you in a position to skipper a motor cruiser in familiar waters, by day.

We will cover pilotage, navigation, seamanship and boat handling, in tidal waters.

We have found people often prefer to take the Day Skipper Shorebased course prior to the practical.

Recognising that some of our clients prefer to sleep ashore rather than on board, we can provide an itinerary before booking the course, so that you can book into hotels/guest houses along the route. All our motor cruisers are spacious and fitted out to a high standard, with heating, running water, and fully equipped galleys.
