Radar is an increasingly common navigational aid, and comes as standard on most motor cruisers. As a navigation and collision avoidance tool, it can be hugely versatile, but only if you are able to accurately interpret what you are seeing.
This one day course covers the use of radar, including setting up the screen with zoom, clutter, rain controls etc to produce the best picture. The use of electronic bearing lines and the like is also covered.
This one day course is taken in our well kitted out classroom overlooking Haslar Marina, with a minimum of 1 computer simulator to 3 students.
